Meet our Team
Meg Briffa

Hello and welcome,
I’m Meg Briffa, an Endorsed Midwife, mama of three & wife.
I’ve spent over 15 years working in healthcare, across many areas of nursing and midwifery, but my path to this work comes from both my heart and my own lived experience as a woman and mother. My passion for holistic, woman-centred care grew from my own birthing journeys - three births that were, at times, difficult, disempowering, and poorly supported. I experienced firsthand what it felt like to be unheard, uninformed, and left to navigate a system that too often overlooks women’s voices, culture, and intuition.
After the birth of my third child, something shifted in me. I knew there had to be a better way one that honoured women’s strength, stories, and choices. While continuing my work as a nurse, I began studying midwifery with a vision to change how care was experienced to make it more connected, respectful, and grounded in both evidence and empathy. After graduating, I moved to remote Far North Queensland, where I had the privilege of working alongside community learning, listening, and strengthening my commitment to culturally safe, accessible care for all women.
Now, back home in Dalby, close to my family and community, I’ve founded Nest & Nurture Collective to bring that same care to women in the Western Downs. My focus is on creating safe, affordable, and holistic care options blending clinical knowledge with emotional, cultural, and spiritual support. Through antenatal education, birth planning, TENS hire, and postnatal care, I walk beside women and families, ensuring every mother feels seen, respected, and empowered throughout her journey. You deserve care that holds space for your story, honours your culture, and nurtures your body, mind, and spirit. I can’t wait to walk alongside you as you prepare to welcome your baby earthside.
With warmth and respect,
Meg Briffa
